PayTM FASTag Transfer : Step by Step Guide

Step-by-Step Guide to Transferring FASTag from Paytm Bank to Another Bank

• Closing the Paytm FASTag:
  • Call Paytm customer care at 1800-120-4210 and request closure of your FASTag.
  • You can also manage FASTag closure within the Paytm app by navigating to “FASTag” -> “Manage FASTag” -> “Close FASTag”.
• Purchasing a new FASTag from another bank:
  • Choose a bank offering FASTag services like ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, etc.
  • Visit the bank website or download their app to purchase a new FASTag.
  • Link your preferred bank account to the FASTag for automatic toll deductions.

 Keep the Paytm FASTag and add your new bank account as a recharge source:

• You cannot directly link your new bank account with the existing Paytm FASTag.
• However, you can continue using the Paytm FASTag and top it up from your new bank account through Paytm itself.
• Paytm accepts various recharge methods, including debit cards, credit cards, and UPI, which allows you to add funds from your new bank account.

  Link Your Vehicle to the New FASTag:

  • Once you have the new FASTag from the desired bank, link it to your vehicle.
  • Provide the necessary details such as vehicle registration number (VRN) and other relevant information.

    Dispose of the Old FASTag:

    • After successfully linking the new FASTag, ensure that the old Paytm FASTag is no longer in use.
    • Dispose of it securely.
